Dr. Moore has been practicing caring and compassionate medicine for 35 years.  He began seeing patients at the SOS Clinic when he moved to Walla Walla in 2001. At that time he toured the old SOS facility and quickly saw the needs of the local uninsured population, and the shortage of volunteer physicians.  A few years later, he was asked to become the Medical Director.

Besides volunteering at the SOS Clinic every week, Dr. Moore has a very busy private practice at Adventist Health Medical Group on the campus of Walla Walla General Hospital.  His primary focus is nutritional and preventive medicine.

Dr. Moore graduated from medical school at the University of Colorado and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University.  He is board certified in Family Medicine and as a Physician Nutrition Specialist.  He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Before medical school, Dr. Moore earned a Master’s of Divinity degree from Andrews University and pastored for two years.  He is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.  He has a keen interest in continually adding to his knowledge of nutritional health and wellness, and frequently makes community presentations on a variety of lifestyle topics.  Dr. Moore and his wife, Janet, enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, along with reading, walking, and traveling.
